My name is Miguel Sigouin. I was born and raised in Kapuskasing Ontario. My passion started in the summer of 2005 when a few of my friends took me fishing almost every night. It quickly became an obsession to the point where I would spend every waking hour thinking about fish. In 2010, My passion brought me to Red Lake Ontario, where I got my first guide gig. I learned a lot very quickly but understood that I knew very little about the sport I loved. I Kept reading, fishing and learning. In 2016 I landed my dream job: I was going to be a NWT fishing guide. I now spend my summers guiding up at Kasba Lake Lodge and I fish in as many kayak tournaments as possible. I enjoy the outdoors and my goal is to share my passion with others, like so many have done with me. Thank you for being part of my adventure!
